Support the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta after a Devastating Fire

ree
As a partner with the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, we would like to promote this opportunity to support their recovery efforts following a devastating fire. Please read their letter below:

On June 18, the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta — a partner to Social Concepts of Georgia and countless service providers across the city — suffered a devastating warehouse fire that destroyed their entire inventory of donated furniture and household goods. For the families they serve, who are transitioning out of homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or recovering from a crisis, this loss means delayed access to the essential furnishings that turn empty apartments into stable, comfortable homes.

Despite the setback, the Furniture Bank is already back on the road delivering beds to clients — and they need our help to keep the momentum going. To support their recovery, please consider making a monetary donation at https://furniturebankatlanta.org/donate-now/.

You can also get involved by hosting an offsite volunteer event, such as a furniture build or a donation drive for essential items like bedding or kitchen supplies. These events can be held at offices, churches, or any space where your group can come together to make a difference. To learn more or schedule a volunteer opportunity, please contact volunteer@furniturebankatlanta.org.

Thanks a million,

Grace
